Sweet Rescue Bakery & Catering started with a simple request from my husband while he was working at the fire station.

One shift, he called and asked if I could bring something sweet for him and the crew. I baked a batch of cupcakes and delivered them to the station.

That one delivery quickly became a tradition. Every shift, I would send something different—cookies, cupcakes, breads, desserts, or a new recipe I wanted to try.

The crew that helped turn new recipes, honest feedback, and firehouse favorites into "Firefighter Tested & Approved."

As a firefighter wife, baking for the station became about more than just making something sweet.

I know how much time firefighters spend away from home and their families. There are long shifts, missed dinners, holidays at the station, and calls that can come at any moment.

Bringing something homemade to the station became my way of showing them that someone was thinking about them.

It was a little piece of home they could share around the firehouse table between calls, training, and everything else the day might bring.

Before long, friends. family, and others in our community began asking me to bake for them too. What started with a batch of cupcakes for one firehouse crew slowly grew into Sweet Rescue Bakery & Catering.

Today. we offer baked goods. custom orders. catering, and food for special events, but the heart behind Sweet Rescue remains the same: making good food with care and bringing people together.

Our firefighter roots will always be part of who we are, and I'm incredibly grateful that something as simple as bringing cupcakes to the station has grown into a dream I now get to share with our community.
